LaLiga fixtures and where to watch by country

The Spanish league is the most widely redistributed competition in Europe and one of the hardest to pin down abroad: the number of matches you can watch depends less on the fixture than on which country you are sitting in. Here is the sourced version.

A season that started in August and runs to the end of May

The 2026/27 campaign opened on 15 August 2026 and finishes on 30 May 2027. Thirty-eight rounds are spread across Friday to Monday, with kick-offs from early afternoon to late evening Spanish time — which for a reader in Finland means matches from mid-afternoon until past midnight, and for Ireland from lunchtime to around 22:00. The fixture list above is in UTC precisely because "the 21:00 game" means four different things to four readers of this site.

One country, one answer — but a very different one each time

In Finland, this site's baseline market, the competition sits inside a general entertainment streaming service's premium tier, carrying selected matches rather than the full round. In Britain the main holder is Premier Sports with more than 340 matches a season through its channels and its own player, with one fixture a week additionally on the streaming service's premium tier. Ireland gets the same package as Britain. The United States has the broadest coverage of all four: every match on the ESPN streaming service, at least twenty on linear television across ABC, ESPN and ESPN2, and a Spanish-language package of two hundred or more on ESPN Deportes.

The pattern is worth naming because it recurs across European football: the further you are from the league's home market, the more likely it is that a general streaming service rather than a dedicated sports channel holds the rights, and the more likely it is that "selected matches" is doing quiet work in the description. If a specific fixture matters to you, check the service's own schedule for that weekend rather than assuming the round is complete.

What the fixture table above is, and is not

It is a rolling list of upcoming kick-offs from a committed schedule file, in UTC, updated when the schedule itself changes. It is not a per-match broadcast guide: our rights map is per country and per competition, not per fixture, and Spanish rounds are commonly split across several outlets in a market. Where two holders share a round we say both and link their own schedules rather than guessing which one has your game — a guess that is right half the time is not information.

Betting a league with two very different halves

  • The top of the table is efficiently priced; the bottom is not. Everyone models the giants. Mid-table fixtures on a Monday night are where books differ most, and where two accounts pay for themselves.
  • Fixture congestion is real and mispriced. Clubs in European competition rotate hard for a Monday league game after a Thursday away trip; not every book adjusts for it.
  • Cards and corners carry the margin. These markets are popular in Spanish football because the refereeing style produces volume — and popular markets are where the overround lives.
  • Kick-off times move. Spanish rounds are scheduled late by European standards; a bet placed against a provisional time is fine, but a calendar reminder is not.

Streams, and what we will not do

Some sportsbooks stream Spanish football in some territories, always on the same terms: a funded account or a recent qualifying bet, a territorial licence, and a picture that lags the broadcast. That makes it a convenience, not a substitute for a subscription, and a poor basis for in-play betting.

We do not name or link unlicensed streams, which are unlawful across our markets and a documented malware vector. And we list no bookmakers on this page yet: no operator record here states that it prices this league, so the list stays empty and the page stays out of search until three do. The betting-site list shows the roster, and the Premier League page is where operator coverage on this site is deepest today.
