MMA outside the UFC: rights gaps and thin markets

Several promotions, several calendars, no shared season

The promotions in this tier — the league-format organisation, the Asian promotion with a striking-heavy rulebook, and the successors to the old second-biggest brand — each run their own year, their own weight classes and, in one case, a season-and-playoff structure that looks nothing like the rest of the sport. There is no combined calendar to publish, which is why the block above shows a calendar year rather than a season.

A rights map we could not fill

We looked for a current broadcaster in Finland, Britain, Ireland and the United States for these promotions and confirmed none. The Finnish sport indexes we opened carry no listing for any of them, and the pages that cover the sport's biggest promotion do not extend to the others. So this page carries no rights rows at all rather than a guess.

The practical route for a viewer is promotion by promotion: each publishes where its events air in each territory, and several stream their own preliminary cards. Start at the promotion's own site for the event you care about — that is the primary source, and it is the one place the answer is current. We will add rows here when a promotion's or a broadcaster's own page confirms them, with the date of the check attached.

Why the odds are worse here, and what to do about it

• Thinner markets mean wider margins. Less money bet means the book needs more protection per fight. Expect a bigger overround than on the marquee promotion.
• Lines appear late and move hard. Fewer operators price these cards, and the ones that do open later. Early prices are more likely to be wrong — in both directions.
• Card changes are frequent. Short-notice replacements are common enough that the operator's void rule matters more than the price you took.
• Data is scarce. Fight footage and reliable statistics for regional fighters are harder to find, so a confident opinion is usually an under-informed one.
• Different rulebooks change outcomes. Judging criteria, allowed techniques and round lengths vary between promotions, which changes how often fights end early. A model built on one promotion does not transfer.

What this page is honestly for

It is a placeholder with substance: it names the shape of the problem, points at the right primary sources, and refuses to print a broadcaster we have not confirmed. No bookmaker record here carries a field for this sport, so the operator list is empty and the page stays out of search — the same rule every list on this site follows.
