About NordicBet

NordicBet is the Betsson Group's Nordic-origin book, and the build this site links to is the international English one at nordicbet.com/en, priced in euros and run under a Maltese permission rather than a Nordic one. The regulator names the domain rather than the other way round: the Malta Gaming Authority's dynamic seal for Rizk Nordic Limited, MGA/B2C/959/2022, lists nordicbet.com among its authorised web addresses alongside betsson.com, betsafe.com and casinoeuro.com, with eCOGRA as approved dispute-resolution body.

That is a firmer check than a licence claim in a footer.

The sportsbook welcome offer is structured as a choice rather than a single number, which is unusual and worth reading before depositing. A new customer picks one of three tiers: deposit at least €20 and place a €20 qualifying bet for a €20 free bet plus twenty cash spins; €50 for a €50 free bet and fifty spins; €100 for the headline €100 free bet and a hundred cash spins.

The qualifying bet must be real money at minimum odds of 1.80, pre-match or in-play, and a single stake — several smaller bets adding up to the tier do not release the reward. Cashed-out bets and bets placed with bonus money do not qualify either.

What arrives is a free bet whose stake is not returned with winnings. Those winnings land as bonus money carrying a 3x wagering requirement at odds of 1.50 or higher, to be cleared inside fourteen days; the free bet itself expires after seven. The cash spins are the cleaner half of the package — each is worth €1 on the €100 tier, they must be used within three days, and anything they win is paid as cash with no wagering attached. A second deposit of €20 or more adds another €20 free bet and twenty more cash spins.

The offer has to be redeemed within ten days of registration, and deposits made with Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity, JetonPay, LuxonPay, Visa card or Paysafecard are excluded from it.

Beyond the welcome offer the account is one login across sportsbook, live betting, horse racing, casino, live casino, jackpots and poker, with cash out on bets and recurring formats including The NordicBet Million. The excluded-country list on the offer page is long — Canada, Germany, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, New Zealand, Poland, Romania and dozens more — so market access is worth checking against country of residence before registering.

Complaints and dispute resolution

If something goes wrong at NordicBet there is an order to follow. We do not run your case — this is who does what.

  1. Raise it with NordicBet’s own support and management first. The Malta Gaming Authority strongly recommends this before a complaint is lodged.
  2. If that fails and the operator holds an MGA licence, lodge the complaint through the MGA player hub. It is handled in English or Maltese. MGA – lodge a complaint
  3. Check in the MGA’s own licensee register that the licence you are relying on is real and current. MGA – licensee register

A licence tells you who can be complained to and what the operator must do — not that you will be paid.

We write for bettors wherever they live, so this review sticks to the things that decide long-run results: the price on the board, what the sign-up offer is worth after playthrough, how quickly it settles and pays, and whether the terms hold up.

How we review NordicBet

  • Bonuses, wagering requirements and other key terms are checked against NordicBet's official information before the page is updated.
  • Licence status, ownership and available payment methods are taken into account before the overall rating is set.
  • Odds range, live betting, promotions and how easy the site is to use for line shopping all feed into the rating.
  • Affiliate commission does not affect whether NordicBet is listed, but all links to the operator are sponsored.

✅ What works

  • The regulator names the domain: nordicbet.com appears on the MGA seal for Rizk Nordic Limited under MGA/B2C/959/2022, with eCOGRA as dispute-resolution body
  • Three welcome tiers let a smaller depositor take the same shape of offer at €20 rather than being priced out at €100
  • Cash spin winnings are paid as cash with no wagering requirement, and the free-bet winnings carry only 3x at odds of 1.50 or higher
  • Sportsbook, live betting, horse racing, casino, live casino, jackpots and poker all run on one account with cash out on bets

⚠️ What to watch

  • The free bet stake is not returned with winnings, so the headline €100 is worth less than €100 in real money terms
  • The qualifying bet must be a single stake at odds of 1.80 or higher; several smaller bets adding up to the tier do not release the reward
  • Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity, JetonPay, LuxonPay, Visa card and Paysafecard deposits are all excluded from the offer
  • The excluded-country list runs to dozens of jurisdictions including Canada, Germany, Ireland, Sweden and Norway

Questions players ask

Is NordicBet licensed?

NordicBet has operated under a gambling license since 2022. That forces segregated player funds and settlement to published rules — but licenses are per jurisdiction, so confirm the site accepts accounts from your own country first.

Is there live streaming?

NordicBet streams a large share of its in-play fixtures. Access normally requires a funded account, and rights vary by country, so the schedule you see may be shorter than the one advertised.

Do I need the app?

NordicBet ships iOS and Android apps, but the mobile site carries the same markets and prices. Use whichever loads faster on your connection.

How much do I have to turn over before withdrawing?

The sign-up offer carries 3x playthrough. Work out the real cost first — staking a bonus 3x over at a typical hold rate returns noticeably less than the headline figure implies.
