NBA 2026/27 schedule, TV rights and betting
Basketball is the deepest-priced sport in the world after football, and the American league is where that depth lives. This page holds the season window, the broadcast picture in the four countries we can source, and the parts of the product that punish a European reader who treats it like a European league.

The season, in dates we hold
The regular season runs from 20 October 2026 to 11 April 2027, the play-offs occupy April and May, and the Finals fall in June 2027. Eighty-two games per team over roughly twenty-five weeks means a nightly slate rather than a weekly appointment, and that changes what a betting page can honestly be. There is no round to preview and no fixture worth a page of its own; what is worth holding is the calendar, the broadcaster, and a short list of things that decide bets in this league specifically.
Three American packages, one thin European picture
In the United States the national rights are split three ways for this cycle. NBCUniversal carries 100 regular-season games across NBC and Peacock. Disney holds 80, including the Christmas Day slate, and remains the exclusive home of the Finals on ABC and ESPN. Amazon adds 66 on Prime Video in Thursday and Friday primetime. All three rows come from the league's own "how to watch" page, which is why we state them plainly.
Outside the United States the picture we can source is much weaker, and we mark it as such rather than smoothing it over. The rows for the United Kingdom, Ireland and Finland come from an encyclopedia article, not from a broadcaster's own page — Prime Video and Sky Sports for British readers, Prime Video in Ireland, TNT Sports in the Nordics. Treat them as a starting point to verify on the service's own schedule, not as a promise. When a broadcaster publishes its own listing, this page will carry that instead.
What an 02:00 tip-off does to a bet
Tip-offs land between roughly 01:00 and 04:00 in Helsinki, and between midnight and 03:00 in Dublin. That is an overnight product for this site's readers, and the honest framing is not "primetime basketball" but "a market that moves while you are asleep". Three consequences worth internalising:
- Rest and travel are priced, but unevenly. Back-to-back sets and the second night of a road trip move totals and spreads; the size of that move differs between books more than the headline number does.
- Late team news is brutal here. A star ruled out an hour before tip-off can move a spread by several points. If you bet the day before, you are accepting that risk knowingly — or you check the book's own rules on void and cash-out.
- Totals are the sharpest market. Scoring environment, pace and referee crews are modelled hard by the books. The edge in this league is far more often in shopping the same total across three operators than in having a stronger opinion.
Why the operator list here is empty
No bookmaker record on this site carries a field stating that it prices this league, so we list none. Almost every sportsbook does price it, and we could write that sentence comfortably — but a list on this page is a claim about specific operators, and we only make claims our own data supports. Our betting-site list shows the full roster with what each is actually good at, and the odds boosts page covers the promotional shape that follows American sport around.
If you want the arithmetic before the opinion, the odds converter handles the American-style prices you will meet on any basketball market, and the betting guide explains why a two-point difference on a spread outweighs almost every bonus you will be offered this season.
18+ and the house edge, stated plainly
18+, or the legal age where you live. A typical basketball spread pair is priced with a four to five percent margin built in, which is the number you are beating before you are right about anything. Set a limit before the season rather than during it, and use the responsible gambling resources if the overnight habit stops being fun.
