Expekt is one of the older names in European sports betting and now trades under LeoEx Ltd, a Maltese company registered as C103737 at Level 7 of The Plaza Business Centre on Bisazza Street in Sliema. Its footer, read on 3 September 2026, sets out a Swedish licence in full: number 23Si807, granted by a decision dated 20 November 2023, valid for five years and expiring on 4 December 2028, covering commercial online gaming and betting. That company is on Spelinspektionen's licensee register, so the claim checks out independently.
A second thread runs to Malta, where the authority's seal for MGA/CRP/237/2013 — held by LeoVegas Gaming plc, not by LeoEx Ltd — lists this brand's dot-com address among four registered sites. One licence, one group, two brands; the permission the reachable product runs on is the Swedish one.
The welcome structure is the most player-friendly on the page, and for an unusual reason. Most of the offers listed here credit bonus funds hedged with contribution tables. This one converts: deposit at least 100 kr, turn the deposit over fifteen times at minimum odds 1.80 within ninety days, and the match, capped at 1,500 kr, is paid as real money you can withdraw. Combination bets qualify if the accumulated price reaches 1.80, and cash-out and system wagers are explicitly excluded, which is a fairer statement than leaving it to be discovered.
A pools ticket worth exactly 64 kr comes with it, built as a six-way half-cover, and anything it wins carries no turnover at all. The offer document is dated from 10 April 2026.
The limitation is stated by the operator itself: eligibility is confined to new customers resident in Sweden. Locale probes run from a Swedish IP on 3 September 2026 against the dot-com address for English, Irish and generic international paths all returned 404 after the redirect; what the product looks like from outside Sweden could not be established from this location. Identity checks run on BankID, with a manual document review quoted at up to three business days when the electronic route is unavailable.
Support answers that with a round-the-clock chat, a published email address and a telephone number, and the FAQ names Swish and Trustly withdrawal minimums of 200 kr and 100 kr.
So the separator here is corroboration rather than reach. LeoVegas holds the Maltese licence this brand's dot-com address is also registered under, but sells no betting itself; ComeOn and Betinia hold Swedish licences without a Maltese thread; 10bet has an Irish domain but nothing readable behind it.
Expekt is the only entry whose Swedish licence is register-confirmed and whose dot-com address also appears on a Maltese group licence — the same one that covers LeoVegas above it — and the only one paying its welcome bonus as cash rather than credit, and also the only one that tells you in its own terms that you must live in Sweden to take it.
