Europa League fixtures and TV rights by country

One competition, four countries, four different answers — and a fixed Thursday slot that makes it the most predictable European football week of all. This page holds the season, the rights map we can source, and what a bookmaker stream is and is not.

The season, matchday by matchday

The league phase opened on 16 and 17 September 2026 and runs to its eighth matchday on 28 January 2027. The knockout play-offs follow from 18 to 25 February, the round of sixteen on 11 and 18 March, the quarter-finals on 8 and 15 April, the semi-finals from 29 April to 6 May, and the final on 26 May 2027 at the Waldstadion in Frankfurt. That is a genuinely useful calendar because the competition keeps the same weekday all season: a Thursday evening, every league-phase week, with the two kick-off slots the competition has used for years.

Who shows it where

For Finland — this site's baseline geography — Viaplay carries every match on its streaming service and its sports channels. In Britain, TNT Sports holds all matches across its channels and streaming product, with the BBC carrying selected live radio commentary and no live video at all, a distinction worth making because a radio listing looks like a broadcast listing in a search result. In Ireland the round is split between Premier Sports and TNT Sports, so the per-match answer depends on the fixture and both schedules are worth checking. In the United States, CBS carries every match through its streaming platform and sports network, with Spanish-language coverage on TUDN and its streaming app and a further package on DAZN.

Every one of those rows was read off a country-specific listing page on the date shown above. Rights change between cycles, so if you are reading this late in the season, treat the panel as a starting point and confirm on the broadcaster's own schedule before you subscribe for one match.

What a bookmaker stream actually is

Sportsbooks in several of these markets advertise live streaming, and the conditions are consistent enough to state plainly:

  • It needs a funded account, or a qualifying bet placed within the previous day. It is a betting product, not a subscription.
  • Rights are territorial. Premium European club football with an exclusive pay broadcaster is rarely inside a bookmaker's streaming package at all.
  • The picture lags the broadcast, which lags the stadium. Betting in-play against a delayed feed means trading behind the market by construction.

Choose a broadcaster on rights and an operator on price, market depth and how quickly it pays. Those are two different decisions and conflating them is how people end up with an account they do not want and a stream they cannot rely on.

The Thursday rhythm, and the coupon habit it feeds

A fixed weekday produces a fixed betting habit — in Finland that habit has a name, the state operator's weekly football pool, which is a coupon rather than a sportsbook product and carries no affiliate relationship with anyone. We mention it because a reader in the baseline market recognises the rhythm, not as a recommendation, and because the contrast is instructive: a pool pays a share of what everyone staked, while a fixed-odds market pays a price the book set. The second is where line shopping helps you; the first is where it does not exist.

On the fixed-odds side, this competition is where price differences between books are widest, because the field is broad and the smaller clubs are modelled less carefully than the giants. Two or three accounts and a minute per bet is the whole method — the margin calculator shows what a market is charging you, and the odds boosts page covers the promotions that cluster around Thursday nights.

Why we list no bookmakers yet, and never a pirate stream

No operator record on this site states that it prices this competition, so the list is empty and the page stays out of search until at least three do. Almost every book covers it; the claim still belongs in the data before it belongs on the page.

We also do not name or link unlicensed streams. Redistributing a broadcast without rights is unlawful in every country we cover, and those sites are a well-documented route to malware and payment fraud. Naming the legitimate holder — including saying that it costs money — is the more useful answer and the only one we will publish. Start at our list of betting sites, and see the Champions League TV page for the same treatment of the senior competition.
